Hello Sunday C Group, here are my walk details for this Sunday, meeting 9.45 for a 10am start from Jackson Lane Car Park (free), Kerridge, Bollington, nearest postcode) SK10 5BE, also parking on the roadside.

This is a bit over 7 miles, mixed terrain, paths, tracks, fields, with 6 stiles and multiple gates. We start the walk from Jackson Lane (start at 600ft) across fields upto Swanscoe Farm (750ft) and then take a gradual ascent on tracks, upto Kerridge Hill (1000ft) with panoramic views. Heading down from Kerridge Hill to CalroFold,then across to Close House Farm and down to Higher Hurdsfield Reservoirs. Follow the canal pathways back towards Moat Hall Farm, onto Oak Lane, Dawson Farm and back to Jackson Lane Car Park.

How to get there: from Marple (takes about 30 minutes) head to Hazel Grove, then Poynton, then Adlington at the traffic lights passing the Toby Pub The Legh Arms on your left, continue straight along London Road (there are still some roadworks with traffic lights along here) for about 2 miles,  at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Flash Lane/B5091. In half a mile turn left onto Bollington Rd/B5090,  another half a mile continue to follow B5090 Turn right onto Grimshaw Ln, follow under the bridge continue about quarter of mile and turn right onto Jackson Lane, the Car Park is part way down the road, where on your right are fields, if you get to the Bulls Head Pub, you have gone too far.
