SUMMARY:B Walk - Combs Moss
DESCRIPTION:Depart at 10 parking on the wide road outside Chapel-en-le-Frith Train Station\, (no toilets\, nearest at the newly opened service station on the by-pass roundabout) which is about a mile outside Chapel signposted off the B5470. 9 miles\, 1616 feet total ascent\, one steep pull of 500 feet at the beginning. \n\n\n\nAn edgy walk with just a few stiles\, bracken quite high in places\, variable underfoot and possibly some pesky critters flying around. We go up to Castle Naze hill fort\, and literally follow Short\, Black and Combs Edges all the way round Combs Moss. Fantastic views in all directions and coffee at Black Edge trig point. I was invited into the Shooting Lodge for champagne breakfast last year\, but don’t think you’ll be so lucky so I’ll bring biscuits instead.  \n  \n\n\n\n9 miles\, moderate / strenuous
