DESCRIPTION:Because the weather forecast for Thursday at Chatsworth in the afternoon is going to be 33 degrees\, I have another walk I can lead which will be slightly cooler. \n\n\n\nMeet at Fairholmes Visitor Centre at 10.00am for 10.15 am start. \n\n\n\nThis is a fairly flat walk around Ladybower Reservoir.  We will walk to the dam and then around the reservoir to the bridge.  Cross over the bridge and then the walk goes through a wood (which will be cooler as the temperature rises in the afternoon to 31 degrees!).  And back to the visitor centre for an ice cream! \n  \n\n\n\n  \n

DESCRIPTION:We are doing a circular walk around Gawsworth  approximately 5 miles. \n\n\n\nModerate walk\, including pavements\, fields\, Stiles and  kissing gates. \n\n\n\nCrossing over the rail bridge over to the Nature reserve. Across to Maggoty woods and back along the road to the cars. \n\n\n\nWe meet at 10.15 for a 10.30 start. Meeting at the Hartington Arms\, Congleton road\, Gawsworth.  SK119RJ  \n\n\n\nFrom your location\, drive through Poynton to. Macclesfield on the A523 Silk Road. At the roundabout just passed Tesco\, take the 3rd exit onto Macclesfield road. Follow untill the T- Junction with the flower pot on the right. \n\n\n\nKeep on the Congleton road. Through the lights passing the Village Hall. You.can take the slip road on the left\, which will have a sign for the Harrington Arms on the green. Or take the next slip road on the left. Both will lead you to our meeting point. Park opposite the  Harry Arms. \n\n\n\nAs you all know it will be a hot day. So plenty of water. Hope to see you all\, if it seems to  much. Will see you on the next walk.
