DESCRIPTION:I shall be leaving my car at home\, this is a walk from Edale Station to Hope station\, with an optional mile extra to the New Inn at Hope. \n\n\n\nI shall have a cheap day return to Hope\, on the 10.10 from Marple station ( 9.42 from Manchester to Sheffield train.) No doubt the station car park will be full\, you can park in Arkwright Road just up the hill. \n\n\n\nStart is platform 2 at Edale station\, 10.32 \n\n\n\nRoute\, 12/13 miles Ollerbrook Farm\, S. Edge of Kinder for a distance\, cautious yomp over Kinder\, N.edge of Kinder\, Crookstone Knoll ( stunning views)\, Crookstone Moor\, Win Hill\, roughly Thornhill to Hope station. \n\n\n\nThis is a lovely walk with big views; it’s radical not taking cars\, but I hope you can join me. \n  \n\n\n\n12 / 13 miles\, moderate

Approx 2 miles\, just after Strines Nightingale Pub turn L into Station Road. Park on left where road is quite wide. Station SK22 3AY \n  \nTHE WALK   Main climb\, from station up to Mellor Cross\, coffee break in vicinity. On to New Mills golf club and down to New Mills (toilets in park)\, lunch in Torrs. Up to canal and a couple of miles canal towpath \nBack to start.
