DESCRIPTION:This week’s walk starts at 10.0 in Wormhill. It is just nine miles\, but there is a fair bit of ascent and descent\, so I don’t think we shall feel under-exercised. It crosses first Flag Dale then Chee Dale before going up to Blackwell\, down again to the Wye and along the river to Millers Dale station. We return to Wormhill by the Limestone Way\, Peter Dale and Dale Head.  \n\n\n\nParking is on Wormhill’s one road\, near the telephone box. The postcode is SK17 8SL. For anyone needing directions\, take the Chesterfield road to Peak Forest and turn right at the lights. Follow this road till it bends right at a junction where you take the more minor road straight on. When you come to a T junction\, turn left\, signed to Wormhill. Keep on this road when it bends to the right. This is Wormhill and the telephone box is on the right further down. \n  \n\n\n\n9 miles\, moderate

SUMMARY:A Walk - Three Dales
DESCRIPTION:This Thursday’s walk begins just outside Monyash. We start down Lathkill Dale before heading up to Magpie Mine and then onwards to Ashford and Monsal Head. From here we return to our starting point via Monsal and Deep Dales.The distance is about 13.5 miles with 1650ft of ascent.Parking is on the B5055 about half a mile E of the village centre. There is a lay-by on the N side of the road opposite the dale entrance\, or\, if needed\, a similar lay-by on the S side of the road just a little nearer the village.
