SUMMARY:C Walk - Parsley Hey
DESCRIPTION:Here are the details for my walk this Sunday\, starting at Parsley Hay Car Park\, off A515 the Buxton to Ashbourne Road\, nearest postcode SK17 0BD\, Grid ref. SK1468 6371. Car Park is £6.60 for all day\, coins/cards or RingGo\, toilets and a coffee bar are available. The car park goes all the way around the building. \n\n\n\nThe walk is 7.5 miles\, Moderate with several stiles and gates\, over mixed terrain of tracks\, paths\, fields\, woods and country lanes. Meeting at 9.45am for 10am start. \n\n\n\nStarting at Parsley Hay we follow the High Peak Trail across Blake Moor\, crossing fields past Lean Low and arriving at Hartington Station with the heritage Signal Box for morning break\, where there are picnic tables and toilets. We then follow the Tissington Trail for a short distance\, before turning and going up into Ruby Wood\, then down through fields to Biggin and follow tracks upto Highfield Lane for lunch with more benches and good views across the valley.  \n\n\n\nAfter lunch we head across to Heathcote then over fields to the Pennine Bridleway\, taking us back to Parsley Hay through rocky canyons. \n\n\n\nFrom Brabyns in Marple it is 25miles\, taking about 45 minutes.  \n\n\n\n\nHead south-west on Brabyns Brow/A626\n\n\n\nTurn left onto Arkwright Rd/B6102\n\n\n\nSlight left onto Strines Rd/B6101\n\n\n\n\nContinue to follow B6101 At the roundabout\, take the 2nd exit onto Union Rd/B6101 \n\n\n\n\nTurn right onto Albion Rd/A6015\n\n\n\n4.7 miles Turn left onto Buxton Rd/A6\n\n\n\n9.9 miles At the roundabout\, take the 2nd exit and stay on A6\n\n\n\n15.5 miles At the roundabout\, take the 1st exit onto Bakewell Rd/A6\n\n\n\nAt the roundabout\, take the 2nd exit and stay on Bakewell Rd/A6\n\n\n\nTurn right onto Dukes Dr\n\n\n\n17.0 miles Turn left onto Ashbourne Rd/A515\n\n\n\n\nContinue to follow A515\, at 24miles you will see a large sign for right turn to Parsley Hay CP \n\n\n\n\n\n7.5 miles

SUMMARY:E Walk - Denton
DESCRIPTION:We start from Yew Tree Road\, Denton\, M34 6JS at  \n\n\n\n10.am. There are three stiles\, none too difficult I hope.  One  stretch is nettles and brambles but ok for trouser wearers.  If you did the evening stroll with me in September\, it is much the same walk.  \n\n\n\nThe Fletchers Arms is only100 yards from Yew Tree Road so we will adjourn there for a drink after the walk. \n3 miles \n
