SUMMARY:D Walk _ Hayfield
DESCRIPTION:This is an approximately 5 mile walk from the Sett Valley car Park in Hayfield.It goes along the River Sett up to the Camp site in Hayfield and then onto the Hamlet of Hill House; along the river Kinder to below the Reservoir and then back to Hayfield via the Pennine Bridle path and park.There are no stiles and it is mainly along quiet lanes and Bridleways. However there are steps  and a short steep rough muddy path to exit the camp site and steps to go in and out of the park. The first part of the walk up to camp site is a gradual uphill walk and there are other gentle inclines.Starting point- Sett Valley  car park Start time – 10:30Directions- post code SK22 2ES by car from Marple take Arkwright Rd and at the end of the road turn left into Strines Rd ( B6101) and continue through Hague Bar to New Mills. At the roundabout at New Mills turn right. At the end of the road at the traffic lights turn left and take the A6015 to Hayfield. At Hayfield turn left at Station Rd at the  sign for the car park.Alternatively you can take the 358 bus from Marple. We will be at the stop outside Costa Coffee in Marple to catch the 10:05.Hopefully the good weather will continue for Thursday. \n\n\n\n5 miles\, moderate
