My walk on Thursday will start from Birchover quarry car park at 10.15am. The walk is 10 miles M. From the car park we will go over Stanton Moor then make it way too Darley Bridge before passing Oaker and Wensley Dale. Finally passing Rowter Rocks on our way back to the cars.

Directions to car park. Make your way to Ashford in the Water then take the A6 through Bakewell. 2.5 miles after Bakewell and just after Haddon Hall turn right on to the B5056 signed Birchover. In just over 2 miles turn left signed Birchover. Continue through the village and follow the road up hill. Keep left at bend (do not turn right) and in 200 yards arrive at the free car park on the left. Please park on the left side of the car park, the right side is for employees. If the car park is full continue up the road for 100 yards and park on the right side of the road.
