Owing to unforeseen circumstances the walk this week is changed from Chinley Churn to Rainow.

Warning for people travelling from Disley: The road closure is still in operation, owing to landslides on the Rainow Road.   

Diversion: Go into Pott Shrigley and from here and turn left then first left onto Spuley Lane, then left onto Blaze Hill. Upon reaching the crossroads turn right then down into Rainow.

The Robin Hood Pub is on the right opposite a church on your left.

Park on the road just below The Robin Hood Pub – SK10 5XE

Meet at 10 for 10.15 start.

Terrain: Field footpaths and tracks. A moderate walk, some hilly bits, nothing strenuous. Hope to c u there
