This week’s walk starts in Monyash at 10.0am
We will meet at the small car park on Chapel Street in the centre of Monyash.  If you are entering the village from the A515 (Buxton to Ashbourne Rd) then turn left as you enter Monyash in front of the village green.

The walk is approximately 10 miles with easy to moderate walking.  The walk takes us from Monyash to and round Weeldon Hill before heading south and east to Pilsbury Castle.  The return journey finishes with a bit of road walking.  Unfortunately the pathway back to the village is too overgrown to navigate.

It’s a very pleasant walk with some good views up the valley to Chrome Hill and overlooking Pilsbury Castle.
