Errwood Reservoir-Buxton-Goyt Valley.  Moderate 7.5 miles, very few stiles.  Start walk at 10-15. Forecast, cool , chance of light shower anytime.

DIRECTIONS TO START    A6 to A5004 to Whaley Bridge, Continue on A5004 through Whaley onto Long Hill. After about 5 miles, on brow of hill, take sharp R H turn onto Goyts Lane, and down 1.5 miles

to parking area on R H S, just before Errwood Resr. If busy (school hols) may need to double park.

THE WALK   The longest climb is at the start, mainly not steep, up to A5004  and White Hall Outdoor Pursuit Centre, coffee break. Down “Roman Road” and A5004 verge to Cavendish Golf Club, lunch near

Watford Farm. Some climbing etc, through Beet Cottage garden and Beet Wood and out onto Wild Moor. Then mainly downhill, some narrow paths, a couple of miles back to start.
