Route: Along delightful setting of Turton & Entwistle Reservoir to cross A666 and pick up Witton Weavers Way at Green Lowe to the ruins of Hollinshead Hall and Tockholes Plantation. Emerge from the trees to Earnsdale Reservoir. Ascend Darwen Hill to Darwen Tower and continue along WWW, crossing over A666, back to T&E Res.

Heat Warning: it’s very likely to be hot on the day (mid 20’s) so please bring plenty of fluids, sun cream & a hat. Note that pace will be moderated if need be.
