This week’s Thursday A walk will be from Stockport to Manchester Piccadilly railway station. The route will be about 16m on good paths through surprisingly rural area along the Mersey and the Bridgewater canal. A few stops will be made to examine information boards on local history etc.

Meet at 9.45am by the information office at Stockport Central bus station. Return by rail (or bus) from Piccadilly.
