Parking: Base of Squirrels Jump, Mottram Road, Alderley Edge SK9 7DR. 

It would be a good idea to share transport in case space is at a premium.  Can park all along road, quite wide in this area. 

Set off: 9.45am to get you back in good time to beat traffic round schools hopefully. 

Distance/ascent: about 12 miles/1500feet

Route: Circular taking in Alderley Edge, Mottram, Alderley Park. Some of the paths Julian used two weeks ago but in the opposite direction!
