A Walk – Teggs Nose
August 2 @ 10:00 am
The walk is 14.5 miles with 2000ft of climbing. We start below Teggs Nose and heads south below Croker Hill to Wincle Minn then towards Wildboarclough and back to the start following the Gritstone Trail for the last mile and a half.
The walk is predominantly through fields and pasture with some short stretches on quite roads.
Start point is a small car park on the north side of Teggsnose reservoir GR 945718. Drive to Langley and take the left fork towards Macclesfield Forest. Just as you start to leave Langley go left down Holehouse Lane, this is marked as a no through road, after a cobbled section it goes along the dam wall and ends at the car park.
Hoping to see you on Sunday.
