The walk I was hoping to lead has been affected by the recent weather, so I’ll be doing a more local 9.5 ml. approx., with total ascent of 1480 ft. approx. walk instead.

Meet 10am in the long layby near the top of Wood Lane West in Adlington

We are unable to use their car park as it’s blocked off.

The route goes towards Elm Wood, Windgather, Bowstones, Park Moor, Sponds Hill, Dale Top, down Birchencliff, picking up the North Cheshire way back to Adlington. The paths are rocky and muddy in places!
