The walk will start from Barber Booth car park at 10 am.

Length of walk is about 9.5miles and we will ascend via Jacob’s Ladder onto the southern rim of Kinder Scout, passing all the weird and wonderful rock formations to Ringing Roger. We then descend to the Nab and then onto Edale and then back to Barber Booth.

I’m sure most of you are familiar with this walk and after a steady flat start for about 1.5 miles we then ascend but after that it’s ‘all downhill’.

Please note that I think the car park at Barber Booth is now pay and display payment by card only so share where possible might be a good option. I have not been to the car park recently so cannot confirm whether it has been changed to pay and display. However the Peak District web site does say that it is pay and display.
