Parking on Smithy Lane Rainow, behind the Robin Hood Inn on the B5470 (Whaley Bridge to Macclesfield Road) SK10 5EX.

We begin the walk by heading across fields towards Lamaload Reservoir.

After a couple of climbs we head, again over fields, towards Walker Barn. 

Coffee stop will be at Valeroyal.

From here we follow grassy paths,  through Horden farm and then pick up the Gritstone Trail, down to Tower Hill. Shortly after, we leave the trail and continue along the lower path with Kerridge ridge above us.

 Lunch will be at Stef’s bench.

After lunch we walk round the base of White Nancy and into Kerridge. Following the Macclesfield canal into Bollington. Then make our way back to Rainow.
