depart at 10  from outside Greyhound Inn, Warslow, SK17 0JN. GR 087586.  Parking on road outside pub or road alongside church. It’s @10 miles, M/S along some interesting paths, not often walked and through access land. It is not a walk for jeans and training shoes and may well have nettles in places and damp patches.

We’ll be taking in 3 trig points and 2 Ethels on a lumpy walk, but with no prolonged steep ups or downs. Fantastic views across the Southern Derbyshire Dales and the rocky ridges of the Roaches, Chrome, Parkhurst and Hen Cloud. Visiting also the River Hamps valley and some pretty little villages.

Toilets at the end of the Community Centre on the B5053 diagonally opposite the church/war memorial.
