Meet at Brabyns Car Park Marple Bridge at 10.00 am. Walk past Roman Lakes, then stiff climb up to Mellor Moor via Mellor and Townscliffe golf course (a section of Cown Edge Way) and The Banks, along Primrose Lane, cross the road at The Oddfellows ph, contour path to Mellor Church, down through the new vineyard, to Bottoms Hall and back to Marple Bridge via Turf Lea road.  About 7 miles with views all the way. Local but lovely.
