Take the A53 (Leek road) out of Buxton

Just over 4 miles from Buxton look out for Knights Table Pub / Café

(road bears right in front of it)

Shortly after look out for sign (on left) for right turn to Flash

(opposite a short layby )

Take this road through Flash and down hill eventually passing left turn

(signed Leek and Royal Cottage)

Look for next left turn off signed Gradbach Mill

Follow narrow lane until you see car park on the right.

Footnote re Parking

The car park should accommodate our party but spaces may be limited if

there are other walkers.

Therefore, please minimise the number of cars and we can do some double

parking if necessary.

If there are no spaces then please leave message that you are parking

elsewhere – the best option being:-

Back up the lane to the road, turn right (in the direction of Flash)

immediately after the first road turning

left (where the road widens) park on the left hand side of the road

alongside the wall before the house. App 0.5m.

Walk back to the car park where the walk starts – thank you.
