The walk is a moderately easy one from the Tideswell Dale car park which is situated on the left approx 1 mile out of Tideswell on the B6049. No postcode available. There is no sign for the car park, but the entrance is just by a  bus stop. Pay and display – card only. Toilets in car park.

We walk into Tideswell and then to Litton (coffee with cake option), then into Cressbrookdale (optional extra ascent here) , along by the river in Water cum Jolly Dale and then back up Tideswell Dale to the car park. 6.5 – 7 miles, no steep ascents.
