The 6 1/2 mile walk starts from Brabyns car park at 10.00am. It goes down the canal towards Strines turning right towards the Old Romper pub, now a private house. We go up Turf Lea Road a way and then back to cross the canal and into Strines village for lunch on the park.

After lunch we go through Strines towards the station and turn left onto the Goyt Way. When we pass the Roman lakes we will take Low Lea Road back into Marple Bridge and then the car park. 

 This is an easy walk with no stiles.
