My walk on 11^th July 2024 is Godley, Tameside,  parking – post code SK14 3SA.

The walk is 5 miles, over varied terrain, a couple of stiles, a long steady climb at beginning but no hills.

For parking:  proceed to Market street, Hyde, turning right at traffic lights at Union Street, right again at next traffic lights – Morrisons – Mottram Road.

Stay on Mottram Road for about 2 miles to the bridge over road at Godley station, which is  on left side.

Just before bridge, turn right at Station road and park there.
