The walk starts from Jackson brick works into Lyme park and starts at 10.30 ( meet 10.15)It’s approx 5 1/2 miles. Some gentle uphill slopes, one stile and two ladder stiles. I’m sure there will be mud but when we did recce ground was frozen .

Travel along Windlehurst road from Marple to A6, turn Rt at traffic lights, and  at first traffic lights on A6 turn left,  then first left along a winding road and over a level crossing . About a mile along you’ll see a sign pointing left to the brickworks, follow it to the large car park at the end.
