There are several paths with a couple of fields and likely mud in one, three stiles. A steady walk with one downhill set of steps. Travel to A6, pass Lyme Park and turn right at the lights onto Buxton Old Road. After 2/3 of a mile turn right(barn with two crosses) onto Mudhurst Lane. Carry on to T junction and turn right onto B5470. Follow this winding road for approx 3 miles, pass a Church on LHS and very shortly pass the Robin Hood Pub on RHS. Turn right onto Smithy Lane and park on LHS.
