Walk starts at 10.30 am from Knowle Road, Mellor. SK6 5PL 

A pleasant 5.5 mile walk, along footpaths, lanes, through fields.

A few ups and downs and some inevertable mud.

If that hasn’t put you off too much, 

from Marple head north east on Station Road towards Marple Bridge, at the t.lights turn right into Town Street towards Mellor. Ahead onto Longhurst Lane for 0.8 miles, then right into knowle Road. (signed for Primary School).
