Walk 5 miles and easy. Some up’s and down’s but nothing difficult.

This car park is free but has no toilet facilities.

From your location you can either drive up the A6 and turn right at Jacksons Dairies, which is the right turn just after the turning for A555. As you turn here you will see Jacksons dairies on your left and a turning just after this. Turn into this turning but be careful it is a very narrow path which takes you over the railway. This is Norbury Hollow Road. Follow this road until you again see the brown infor sign for Jacksons Brickworks. I think It is the 3rd left turn after the bridge, this is Pool House Rd. Just follow this over the bridge then into the car park.

Or…

Head through Poynton and turn up Park Lane at the main cross road opposite the church. Follow this road till you come to a fork, take the left hand fork signposted Middlewood Rd. Follow this until you come to another fork and take the left hand fork again which is a continuation. Do not turn for Nelson’s Pit. Carry on following this road till you see the brown signpost for Jacksons Brickworks. Turn right here and just follow the road over the bridge and into the car park.

There are 2 stiles and the rest are kissing gates, but be warned there are some muddy patches especially round the stiles, but they do not fill your boots deep by any means.
