Roadside parking just before the main gates of the cemetery.

Make your way to the Morrisons at Bredbury on the A560, Stockport Rd.
Turn down towards the big roundabout passing the Easy Access self storage facility.
At the roundabout take the 2nd exit driving underneath the railway bridge and passing Allied Bakeries.
Follow this road, A6017 Ashton Rd, passing the Arden Arms pub on your right and down past the side entrance to the Hulmes Wood nature reserve.
Turn right at the next turning, Wakeling Rd.
Drive straight up to the top of the road and turn right.
The cemetery will be directly in front of you. Park just beyond the houses.


Will will descend down through Hardy Wood and onto the paths alongside the River Tame and into Haughton Dale, and then up onto the Peak Forest Canal. Then along the canal as far as Unity Mills then, back down to the bridge back over the Tame and make our way back through to Hulme’s Wood via a slight and muddy incline back up the cemetery and the cars.
Most of the paths will be good but the inevitable muddy sections are to be expected.
