My 5.5 mile , moderate walk will start at 10.30am, from the far end of Hobson Moor Road, Stalybridge. SK14 6SH ( 8 miles from Marple )
A scenic walk on footpaths, farmland, woodland and moorland. Some uphill climbs.

Directions from Marple Bridge
Take the Glossop Road A626 for 3.9 miles to Charlesworth.
At the George Hotel turn left onto Long Lane .
Follow this Road through Broadbottom and Mottram for approx 3 miles. Ahead at the traffic lights in Mottram village to the mini roundabout and take the first exit towards Stalybridge. A6018.
After 0.6 miles turn right into Hobson Moor Road.
Follow this lane for approx half a mile, KEEPING LEFT at forks in the road.
We will park on the lane before the no through road sign.

There are other routes through Hyde, which maybe more convenient for you.
