This Thursday’s walk starts at Mytham Bridge which is (as I imagine many of you will already know) near Bamford Station. We begin by following the Derwent Valley Way to Hathersage, climb up to Mitchell Field, then to Over Owler Tor, up the Burbage Valley, along Stanage Edge, down to Dennis Knoll and and back to our starting point. The distance is about 14 miles with 1850ft of ascent.
