Directions:

M60 North to M66 which becomes A56. Take the 2nd turn off to Haslingden B6232 and turn left at the bottom of slip road onto Grane Road. After 2 miles turn RIGHT to Clough Head Cafe and Tourist Information Centre. (there is a car park before on left). The cafe opens at 9, and the owner says she does mean bacon butties. There are toilets here.

Walk details:

Walk 9 miles starting at 10am from car park. We join the Rossendale Way to Holden Hall and head for Tor End via a short steep climb. Then back on the Rossendale Way through moors to Musbury Heights The route proceeds down overlooking Ogden and Calf Hey Reservoirs back to the car park. A varied walk. Waterproof boots recommended.
