Start time: 09:45 for 10:00 start

Start Location:  Cutthroat Bridge lay-by, Snake Pass just after the Bamford traffic lights (S33 0AX; OS: SK216874, W3W: linguists.perused.screeches). 

Description:  The planned walk is 10.3 miles with 1750′ of elevation.  The route will take in Hordron Edge, Bamford Edge, Bole Hill Wood, Stanage Edge and Moscar Cross Before returning to the lay-by.  The Bole Hill Wood area is looking particularly stunning at the moment with all the Autumnal colours, so it is fortunate I have been able to bring this walk forward.  The only significant climb is up to Stanage Edge and we are due to get there roughly at lunch time so we may elect to break for lunch half way up in the plantation where it is a lot more sheltered than on the Edge itself.
