The walk starts at Danebridge, opposite the Wincle Brewery, at 10, and goes north, taking in Gradbach, Wildboarclough and Oakenclough. It is about 10.5 miles. The forecast is for reasonable temperatures, but if it turns hot there can be a shortened version. 

Danebridge is reached by following the A523 through Macclesfield and turning left at traffic lights on to the road to Sutton and Langley. Follow this till it meets the A54, then take the A54 keeping the same direction. Shortly afterwards at a crossroads, turn right downhill. This road will take you to Danebridge. We meet right at the bottom, on the bridge over the Dane. The postcode SK11 0QE covers a length of road starting well above the bridge, but it should be possible to park quite a lot further down.
