Moderate 7 mile walk from Gamesley. 10am for a 10-15 start.

The walk is from the Melandra Castle Car park off Melandra Castle Road at the back of the Gamesley council estate. This is on the left off Glossop Road opposite a building development.

The walk nudges the River Etherow into Hollingsworth and over fields and lanes to Broadbottom and along the Etherow back to Gamesley. There are a couple of styles and one muddy section.
