From the lights in Marple Bridge go along Town Street and continue for just over a mile and there is a sign post for Mellor Church where you turn left down Church Road. If you reach the Devonshire Arms you have missed it. At the top of the lane you will find the car park on your right. Please park at the far end of the car park.

We will walk down from the Church through the vineyards and towards Mill Brow and circle back to approach the Church from the opposite direction. There are several stiles and two gentle uphill stretches. Considering the recent rain the paths are good.
