This week’s walk is 10 miles and will starts in Youlgreave at 10am.  We will meet in front of the George Hotel, just across the road from the church, in the centre of the village.  There is roadside parking on any of the roads leading into the village.

The walk takes us up Middleton Dale out into open country through rolling hills to Long Dale.  We walk through Long Dale and then through Gratton Dale.  The return journey takes us towards Elton but we turn northwards before reaching it.  The return path back to Youlgreave takes us through some very attractive countryside.

The walk is moderate / easy.  I look forward to seeing some of you there.
