Hello fellow walkers, in view of the present forecast for Thursday I have decided to do a short local walk finishing at lunchtime.Not the temperature to be out of doors eating sandwiches. Meet at Brabyns Park car park for a 10.30am start,the route will depend on the conditions on the day.

Meet in Brabyns Park car park at 9.30 for 9.45 start Route goes up Longhurst Lane to Mellor church via Townscliffe farm. Across to Shiloh Road. Then Pole Lane and Castle Edge Road to take track to Fox Inn. Down to Strines station and back along Goyt Way. Approx 7 miles
